Craig T. Hoekenga II, Esq.
Attorney Hoekenga received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law graduating magna cum laude. He was the recipient of the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Bankruptcy, Corporate Law, Evidence, Federal Income Tax and Administrative Law. He received the Award for Academic Excellence for having graduated in the top 10 of his class. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Salve Regina University with a major in Administration of Justice.

Osvaldo G. Machado, Esq.
Attorney Machado received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law where he was named Dean Scholar. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Connecticut where he majored in History and Political Science. He also graduated as a Dean’s List student. Osvaldo has become an invaluable resource to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking community as he is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and utilizes his language skills to helping clients feel comfortable and understood when addressing their legal concerns.
Meg Lyon, ESQ.
Meg graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in December 2018 receiving her Juris Doctorate along with a Certificate in Human Rights. She earned the Thomas J. Stanley Award for her distinction in the study of labor law and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trial and Advocacy and in the Law and Forensic Science. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yale University in 2012 with a major in Anthropology and a focus in Violence and Conflict Resolution. She was the four-year starting shortstop for their Division 1 Softball team and was named a 2013 NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete.

Daniel T. Murtha, ESQ.
Attorney Murtha received his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law and his B.S. in Political Science from Fairfield University. Dan focuses his legal practice on all aspects of residential real estate and commercial real estate; as well as business law, landlord and tenant disputes and personal injury.
Philip E. Spillane, ESQ.
Attorney Spillane received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law graduating cum laude. He received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Connecticut with a major in Political Science. Phil Spillane brings a wealth of experience to the firm as he’s been practicing law since 1978 focusing in Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation.

Michael W. Dunn, ESQ.
Mike Dunn provides valuable assistance to Hoekenga & Machado serving Of Counsel to the firm. Mike received his Bachelor of Acts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s Degree from St. Francis College and his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University. He advises on Human Resources risk, contract reviews, litigation matters, general liability and employment law. Mike has proven to be a fountain of knowledge providing valuable insight into all facets of the law.

Korrie Domain
Korrie brings over fifteen years of experience to the firm as a personal injury and litigation paralegal. Her attention to detail, passion for client satisfaction and knowledge about legal procedures helps elevate Hoekenga, Machado & Lyon, LLC to new levels and she’s become a welcome addition to the office. She’s currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies at Post University and has her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Law from University of Phoenix. She is a Notary Public and assists in a wide variety of document verification. She’s a member of the NALA- the Paralegal Association and is Certified as a Sexual Harassment Prevention advocate. She lives in Woodbury, Connecticut with her husband of over 20 years and two adult children and three Chow Chows- all of whom are the loves of her life.
Dorothy Monaco
Dorothy graduated cum laude from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Justice and Law Administration and a minor in Psychology where she was named to a Dean’s List student. Dorothy’s talents, expertise, organization and professionalism are unprecedented within the office as she serves many functions; office manager, human resource representative and executive assistant as well as handling the firm’s real estate closings and assisting on criminal law and personal injury matters. She currently resides in New Milford with her two adult children.

Nancy E. Marden
Nancy has over 20 years’ experience working in the legal field. Her experience includes residential and commercial real estate, family law, and corporate compliance. She continues to have strong connections to the Danbury, Brookfield and Newtown communities having lived and worked there all of her life. An Immaculate Alumni, she is currently completing her B.A. in Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.

Ana Carolina Robacher
Ana Robacher brings a wealth of experience and personality to the firm. She currently works out of the Danbury office and is the friendly face you’ll see upon entering the building. She is currently working towards her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice Studies at Naugatuck Valley Community College. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese and has become a major asset in assisting with client communication for all three offices.
